Stainless Steel 310 / 310S Angle, Channel

Stainless steel is steel that has minimum chromium content and maximum carbon content. Stainless steel type 310 is austenitic steel which is a heat resistant alloy. It has a phenomenal resistance property to corrosion and oxidation at a 2000 degree f. It is high chromium and nickel alloy shows the same resistance property as type 304. It is offer different type of resistance property like corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, and provides excellent toughness at cryogenic temperature. Stainless steel type 310s is chromium-nickel austenitic alloy and provides good resistance to oxidation and high strength at high temperature. The 310s is a modify alloy of 310 types and has a low expansion coefficient.

The lower carbon content reduces the carbide precipitation during the welding process. Type 310 and 310S is used in kilns, radiant tubes, roller, fans, food processing equipment, saggers, etc. it has many properties like the fabrication process is very easily and quickly welded, and being tough and hard very quickly. Nickel alloy improve resistance of channel and angles and the chromium alloy help to increase corrosion resistance, crevice resistance, and chloride stress corrosive resistance. Stainless steel 310/310H angles and channel used where work on high temperature and pressure. The mechanical strength is very high at high temperature and low ductility. Its formation and welding process is very easy and does not brittle at high temperature.
